Guardiola explained that Haaland had been dealing with the recent death of his grandmother. And he admitted that there was no player he would rather a chance fell to than Haaland, despite his recent glaring misses. "Sooner or later he is there. He was out for two months, he lost his grandmother, it is not easy for a human being," the City boss added. "If I have to choose one player [to get a chance] I would choose this one."
